Public bug reported: Binary package hint: yelp
Using Maverick, with all updates installed, using Yelp 2.30.1, The help browser always crashes. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Yelp 2. Enter "Interface" in the search field 3. In the results, there will be a result having the title "New to Ubuntu" appearing with blue, and with the content "Interface" with bold click this result 4. Yelp does not seem to do anything, click that result again: now the Yelp window is closed, and in the terminal appear the error message: Yelp:ERROR:yelp-document.c:275:yelp_document_cancel_page: assertion failed: (document != NULL && YELP_IS_DOCUMENT (document)) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: yelp 2.30.1-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.35-generic 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia wl Architecture: i386 Date: Wed Nov 10 05:25:31 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release i386 (20101007) ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: yelp ** Affects: yelp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 maverick ubuntu-une -- yelp crashes with Yelp:ERROR:yelp-document.c:275:yelp_document_cancel_page: assertion failed: (document != NULL && YELP_IS_DOCUMENT (document)) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/673355 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to yelp in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
