Public bug reported:
While on Live Mode I can modify the Network preferences on "System ->
Administration -> Network", these will not be kept once closed the
preference pane.
Moreover:
1. I set network preferences for my local network (LAN)
2. Save these preferences in a Location
3. Activate the location
4. Try to acces internet with no success
Weird, as gateway is not kept in network preferences, but selecting the
saved Location, gateway IP appears.
Weird, as I can navigate LAN, can ping any device on the LAN, even the
gateway, but can not reach outside the gateway.
** Affects: gnome-system-tools (Ubuntu)
