Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
System: Ubuntu 10.10 AMD64 When I access a Windows 7 SMB share password protected, Nautilus mounts it with no problem and gnome-keyring works as expected, saving the username and password. I can read the shared content, but Nautilus's context menu hasn't "Paste", "Create Document", and "Create Folder" options, so I can't copy and paste anything to it. If I open a terminal in the mount point, I can create documents and folders: pwd /home/marcos/.gvfs/documents em sempron touch test_file mkdir test_folder ls -l test_* -rwx------ 1 marcos marcos 0 2010-11-18 08:43 test_file test_folder: total 0 The file and folder are successfully created (checked in the server). Sorry for the bad english :( ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- nautilus doesn't give write options in smb share https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/676926 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
