Public bug reported: When selecting text that is in "blocks" (see attached PDF) then text is selected in columns, rather than in rows. In some contexts this makes PDF readers that use poppler almost useless.
The problem was noticed in Evince and Okular. Adobe Reader does not experience this problem.
