Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

Starting evolution with the "--express" option is a handy way to save
screen real estate. However, if I choose to hide the status bar to see
even more, it reappears after I restart the application. This is
different from the behaviour when --express is not given.

To reproduce:
1. $ evolution --express
2. View → Layout → uncheck "Show Status Bar"
3. File → Quit
4. $ evolution --express

Observed: The status bar is shown.
Expected: The status bar is not shown.
