I just copied a bunch of video files from a camera memory stick, selected them in nautilus, right-clicked and selected "Open with Movie Player" and the same problem happened.
Checking the running processes, I see: totem /home/chris/Pictures/SDC13156.MP4 /home/chris/Pictures/SDC13157.MP4 /home/chris/Pictures/SDC13158.MP4 /home/chris/Pictures/SDC13159.MP4 /home/chris/Pictures/SDC13160.MP4 /home/chris/Pictures/SDC13161.MP4 /home/chris/Pictures/SDC13162.MP4 /home/chris/Pictures/SDC13163.MP4 /home/chris/Pictures/SDC13164.MP4 ie. they're listed in numerical order. But in the totem application, they're all jumbled up, and play out of order. So this bug doesn't only affect people using the command line, but also people using nautilus. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to totem in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/659001 Title: files listed on command line are play in semi random order -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
