Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

I started a vncserver -geometry 1280x1024 -depth 16
* logged on to over local network.

On a simple double-click nautilus crashes when using inside vnc
environment.

The vncserver log says
Initializing nautilus-gdu extension

(nautilus:10512): GConf-CRITICAL **: gconf_value_free: assertion `value
!= NULL' failed

The XsessionErrors.txt provided by apport is irrelevant here, since the
log goes to .vnc/hostname:1.log

On the console on which I started the vncserver I can see the backtrace,
which I attached (backtrace.log).

Any help welcome.
