Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gdm
gdm is offering the system account "logcheck" (clearly labeled as system account) for logging in. In some cases I even spotted "currently logged in" (probably because logcheck was running immediately after reboot). $ fgrep logcheck /etc/passwd logcheck:x:117:130:logcheck system account,,,:/var/lib/logcheck:/bin/false logcheck has a uid well below the limit for normal users, so why is it being displayed at all in gdm?
