This bug seems to be related to the three folowing upstream bug in the Gnome Bugzilla (What a mess!) : - Bug 603570 - "Do Nothing" option for laptop lid close is now missing ; - Bug 605961 - gnome-power-preferences "when laptop lid is closed" action should include "do nothing" ; - Bug 638865 - [REGRESSION] gnome-power-manager unconditionally suspends when lid is closed.
