I discovered problems on my Lenovo X201 (Ubuntu 10.10, i386-PAE) after suspend mode using gnome-power-statistics. gnome-power-statistics then reports wrong battery data (e.g. capacity is reported 10 times bigger than it is). I'm not sure wether this is the same issue we're talking about.... Rebooting the system solves the problem until you're using suspend mode again.
