Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
I have installed Natty on Virtualbox 4.0 on a Maverick station, made all updates, but I have a bug with the terminals: there is no action when I press CTL+X, CTL+any letter. The only result is to write the letter as a normal text. When exploring further, there is no mean to copy and paste anything from a terminal to an other application. lsb_release -a: Ubuntu 10.10 uname -a: 2.635-27-generic-pae #48-Ubuntu SMP Tue Feb 22 21:46:58 UTC 2011 i686 GNU/Linux ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: gnome-terminal 2.32.1-0ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-5.32-generic 2.6.38-rc6 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-5-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Mar 13 16:52:58 2011 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gnome-terminal InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Alpha i386 (20110216) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=fr_FR:en LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-terminal UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to natty on 2011-03-09 (4 days ago) XsessionErrors: (nautilus:1218): GConf-CRITICAL **: gconf_value_free: assertion `value != NULL' failed ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug apport-lpi i386 natty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/734390 Title: no action of CTL+x, CTL+C on Natty Terminal -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
