Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus-cd-burner
Nautilus recognizes my cd writer, after copying the files to the CD/DVD creator location (burn:///) and clicking the "Write to Disc" I get the standard CD Burning prompt. When I click the "Write" button I am prompted with the message: Insert a rewritable or blank disc Please put a disc, with at least 2.8 MiB free, into the drive. The following disc types are supported: CD-R, CD-RW Despite having a blank CD already in the drive. If I click the "OK" button to continue, the message keeps appearing and I am unable to write to the CD OS: Ubuntu Edgy Eft (6.10). CD Writer: External SCSI HP 9600 CD Writer. ** Affects: nautilus-cd-burner (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- nautilus-cd-burner does not recognise blank cd. https://launchpad.net/bugs/69033 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
