Lenovo T510 here too. I think I remember reading somewhere that it might be caused by a chip which can be configured to report the battery parameters in either watt- hours or amp-hours, and somewhere along the line the units get confused or the chip is changed from one unit to another. I can't find where I read this, but it might be worth investigating.
