Bug happened to me after clean install of edgy and moving evolution mailbox and settings across to the new installation
After reading the comments above I ran find ~.evolution/ -name "*.ev-summary" -print0 | xargs -0 rm -rf to delete .ev-summary files... and it did the trick -- evolution bug, "Summary and folder mismatch, even after a sync" https://launchpad.net/bugs/27014 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
