I had the same issue (folders with no name which couldn't be removed) on Evolution 2.28.3 on Lucid Lynx.
Backed up my .evolution folder then deleted .evolution/mail/mapi/myaccount folder and restarted Evolution. Took a couple of minutes to rebuild inbox and other folders from exchange but problem is resolved.
