Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gdm
On systems with very large touchpads (like Apple hardware) the default behavior of "touch to click" is very frustrating when trying to log in. It's very hard to not touch the touchpad when typing, if it's a large one. So typing passwords frequently fails due to accidental touches. This can be fixed after login using gnome-mouse-properties > Enable mouse clicks with touchpad = OFF However this setting doesn't get applied until after login, which is too late.
