Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
After upgrading from ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04 I can't change a monitor resolution greater than 1024x768 even if my video card and monitor support a higher resolution. Executing xrandr --output VGA1 1280x1024 change the resolution correctly but unity launcher doesn't know that the resolution is changed so is not a good workaround. ...perhaps the bug is only on gnome-display settings? $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 11.04 Release: 11.04 I have already reported this bug in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/776719 but I don't know how to add ubuntu-bug generated report to an existent one.
