I've just confirmed it for Unity notification area. Skype icon appears there most of the time, but sometimes it's just 1 pixel. Note that before appearing correctly, random noise square is displayed in noticeable 100 or 200ms. This should not happen, the icon should be displayed when it's ready, this looks like an uninitialized memory location was displayed shortly before.
