This also happens to me, seemingly at random. In my logs:

It never happens "50 times one day," but it might happen 0-4 times per
day. I can't find any usage patterns that reliably cause GDM to restart
like that.

I am using "Classic mode."

Is there anything else I can post to help resolve this bug?
