Yes it's reproducible. If you open a ftp site in krusader and than, open a file in gedit; gedit takes the information itself (it's visible on the header of window) and ask the password to you again (i was really confused here).
I make sure the password is right, but gedit says no. Then i realised the password includes %23 instead of #. If you enter a wrong password and say the program not to remember; and than enter the password yourself; gedit then agree the password and let you see the file. I think krusader sends the password in a wrong way or something like that. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gedit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/778058 Title: Gedit can't understand special characters To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit/+bug/778058/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
