Public bug reported:

If I turn the netbook on from hibernate mode, most of the screen is
taken up with black pixels with a band of different coloured pixels
across the top. When I move the cursor the screen flickers and shows
slices of the windows that are open. The computer allows me to log in
and to use the shutdown menu to shut it down and seems to behave
normally. This does not occur on startup, only on resuming from
hibernate.

I have attached a photo of it happening taken with a camera because I
can't save a screenshot when I can't see the desktop to open GIMP!
