Public bug reported:

When using GSM dongle [from "3"] the GSM dongle is rendered useless
immediately once Rhythmbox is started & loaded.  If dongle is removed
from USB port & re-inserted; all ok again..  Suspicion on IRC is that
it might be seeing the USB mass storage bit and trying to interact with
it - this seems most likely reason for bug... and most likely reason for
my annoyance ;D
