I forgot to tell that I work with Xinerama and a Dual Screen Config and
4 virtual screens and a NVIDIA gfx card. Maybe this will give hints as
you'll see later.

So after several tests I found a way to get rid of the problem.
As I previously explained, closing and opening a gnome session make the problem
come back.

- So I open a new gnome session.
- I open any application and then a terminal window on my left screen.
- I try Alt+tab but it doesn't work yet.
- I drag my windows to my right screen
- I retry Alt-tab but it still doesn't work.
- I open an ssh or mysql DISTANT connection in my terminal window.
- I drag my terminal window from right screen to left screen and then... both
my screens blink, as if refreshing themselves and that's it : Alt-tab works
again.
- By the way Ctrl+Alt+tab work again.

I can make more tests, or provide with any conf file if needed.
I can tell you that Alt+tab not working is a real productivity killer when
you're used to work with the keyboard at 99% (I switch from vim to firefox a
thousand times a day to develop my apps, so this is quite annoying ).

I think this bug importance should have been listed as medium at least.
