Public bug reported:

I had a CD with a folder containing about 13'000 files (very small
pictures) that I needed for a database. Nautilus mounted the CD and
showed correctly that there were these 13000 files in the folder.
However when I tried to open the folder, Nautilus crashed - both when
trying to open from CD as well as when copied to the hard drive.

I was possible to open from Terminal though - so the problem must be
within Nautilus.
