This has affected a number of users.  
At least here & for some others disabling the option "Disable touchpad while 
typing" has apparently stopped this from happening, though due to the sporadic 
nature can't say for 100% sure. (tested here for 3 days, no occurrences

For 2 days now have been enabling the option thru syncdaemon instead & again 
have seen no occurrences though for me 2 days might not be a long enough test 
frame
Using this which differs slightly from that used in g-s-d ( no -R option, -k 
instead of -K
syndaemon -d -k -i 0.5s
