Side-scrolling on the edge of the touchpad on my Dell Studio XPS works
in every other window/software (including xterm) but the Terminal. I can
only use the cursor to manually drag it up/down.
I am running Gnome Terminal 3.3.0 on Ubuntu Precise 12.04.
