Do you by "the dateformat screen" mean the "Regional Formats" tab in
Language Support? There I see this Dutch date format:

What would be the correct format in your opinion?

If you have had boot problems, it's unlikely that it's related to your
regional formats choice. If you still think it is, can you please
provide a step-by-step use case that lets others reproduce the issue.
