Public bug reported:

Gstreamer is failing intermittently when tring to play 3gp file or mp3 files. I
have faced this issue with Totem movie and Clementine audio player. Once
gestreamer is crashed I am not able to increase or decrease the volume by using
the volume rocker.
Also the volume indicator at unity bar shows 3 empty dashes.
