Yeah, I think that's the best approach. And it doesn't necessarily need
to look like a button, it could look like an indicator. This way we
would have even more consistency with the panel. All it would need is to
separate the application name from the window title.

Here goes the same mockup but with LIM as an indicator instead of a
button.
