Thanks for using Ubuntu and reporting this bug! I've confirmed it in Precise.
I disagree that it is a security bug, as invalid passwords are only accepted if the valid password has previously been saved. I see it as a UI bug around a feature that happens to relate to security (remote login). As a result, I'm removing the security label from this report. ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Visibility changed to: Public ** This bug is no longer flagged as a security vulnerability -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1007507 Title: Auto-login to ssh when putting the wrong password To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1007507/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
