settings invalid for gvfs, I tracked that down this week and it was a glib issue, see bug #901171 for the details but basically if there was no default handler for the exact mimetype if would prefer the default handler for a subtype to an handle for the exact type.
Said different if java source is a subclass of xml with no default handler for java_source and firefox default for xml it would pick firefox (the default for the subtype) ** Changed in: gvfs (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to desktop-file-utils in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/949823 Title: icedtea-netx should handle jnlp mime type To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/desktop-file-utils/+bug/949823/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
