Attaching a configuration I just tested. It works until I log in and then fails. After I hit "super-p" or some other key combo to get switch monitor configs, it becomes somewhat usable. In this case, I've edited monitors.xml so that the primary monitor in the config to be the external monitor.
Note that although the LCD shows as active here, nothing is displayed on it. ** Attachment added: "monitors.xml" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/1066048/+attachment/3398948/+files/monitors.xml -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1066048 Title: corrupt monitors.xml makes gnome unusable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/1066048/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
