Public bug reported: I use the NVidia binary XOrg driver (nvidia-current), automatically presented by the applet "Software sources", however, in the Details menu of gnome-control-center the text says my video driver is unknown. Actually, after the fresh install it also showed up as Unknown, although it was using xserver-xorg-video-nouveau. I have a NVidia GeForce 9300M G graphics adapter.
