Hello, I confirm that the patch works fine on Precise. So, +1 for going to release on Precise
Technical details: a 32 bit Precise fresh live usb was confirmed to have the bug with the default Brasero 3.4.1-0ubuntu1 and a DVD RW. After enabling the proposed repository and the update to 3.4.1-0ubuntu1.1, the problem is solved (even without a reboot, on the same DVD, after blanking it with the dvd+rw-format commands).
