What kind of graphic card are you using (intel/nvidia/ATI)? You can find this 
by running the command "lspci | grep VGA" in a terminal and pasting the result 
here.
Which driver are you using (open-source driver or binary driver)? You can find 
this info by running the command "jockey-text -l" in a terminal and pasting the 
result here.
