affects me too. I use Raring daily with all updates. I can confirm hangs copying big files or e. g. here a folder with 29MB. Sometimes grep on network shares hangs without error and can't be killed even with kill -9. Also viewing images from network shares hangs sometimes. Same effekt also on Mint 14.
