Addition:

Running gnome-control-center in the terminal and selecting audio
settings gives a crash with following error:

"(gnome-control-center:4796): sound-cc-panel-WARNING **:
active_input_update - couldn't find a stream from the supposed active
input

(gnome-control-center:4796): sound-cc-panel-WARNING **:
active_output_update - couldn't find a stream from the supposed active
output

Segmentation fault"

# uname -r
3.8.13-custom

Pavucontrol via terminal is working fine btw.
