Hi, same problem here. Firefox or chromium wont display "*.jpg" files for uploading because they search for "*.JPG". Moreover there is no switch for "All file types" so that the only solution is to rename the files:
$ find ./ -name "*.JPG" -exec rename -v .JPG .jpg "{}" \; plz add a swicht to the gtk menu to display all filetypes! This is a good fall back in any case.
