A work-around is to add the package 'nvidia-settings' and use that to
set up mirroring.  However, it would be best to get it fixed in gnome-
control-center.  The control center works otherwise but mirroring is
really needed when doing presentations because it is necessary to see on
the laptop screen what is being projected behind you without committing
the faux pax of turning around while presenting.
