Good afternoon,, ;_) I got this too, all of a sudden, gnome panel disappeared on a freshly installed gnome-saucy system. When starting gnome-panel from console: 'sudo gnome-panel' - the following messages appear,
*** BUG *** In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed Set a breakpoint on '_pixman_log_error' to debug *** BUG *** In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed Set a breakpoint on '_pixman_log_error' to debug *** BUG *** In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed Set a breakpoint on '_pixman_log_error' to debug *** BUG *** In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed Set a breakpoint on '_pixman_log_error' to debug *** BUG *** In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed Set a breakpoint on '_pixman_log_error' to debug I have actually never thought about debugging seriously - Thanks anyway for your work on Ubuntu. P.S.: I even had tried '#sudo dpkg-reconfigure gnome-panel' plus 'sudo apt-get install gnome-panel' with no, resp. "...already installed ..." - etc. Have a good day - inspite of all -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1247873 Title: on startup upper panel is black(lower is ok)only on ubuntu 13.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/1247873/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
