Ubuntu 14.04, 64 bit, upgrade from 13.10. After latest update network manager and hotkeys stopped working but layout is switching correctly! :-) Alt+Shift is working and NumLock indicator does not turn off every time i'm pressing these buttons. But one new thing appeared: when i'm pressing Alt+Shift or Tab buttons, there is a pause, i think, 2 seconds, before layout is switching.
