Probably I discovered a pattern: This problem occurs when one or more files are deleted from the memory stick and this process automatically creates a hidden folder called ".Trash-1000" (and another hidden files) in the memory stick.
The icons are in sync while the memory stick is connected and files are created in and deleted from the memory stick. When the memory stick is disconnected later, this bug occurs when the trash applet is cleaned. Fix this ridiculous bug, it is dirtying the reputation of the Ubuntu here! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1321350 Title: Trash applet don't change the 'full icon' after the system disconnect a USB driver in Ubuntu 14.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1321350/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
