Public bug reported: If I wrote a very sophisticated file name and the save action fails (e.g. due to missing permissions) and I want to save again, the file name is lost for no reason. This should be changed.
I experienced this with gedit 3.10.4 on Ubuntu 14.04. ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gedit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1324069 Title: preserve file name after failing save action To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit/+bug/1324069/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
