Thank you, I've found the option to download the subtitles indeed in
full screen.

About that menu in full screen, I did saw the option 'Subtitles' with a
right pointing arrow. Since I'm used that hovering above such an item,
automatically opens the submenu whoch didn't happen, I believed there
were no subitems. After really clicking on 'Subtitles', the menu was
changed with a new submenu.

This makes me wonder if the change in interface is done for touch
devices. In those situations, the new interface makes sence.

So the bug report should be changed to something like 'Menu options
missing in the global menu' and perhaps a new bug report should be made
to address the 'no submenu on hovering the fullscreen menu items'.

Do you agree?
