Public bug reported: Gedit crashes when opening a certain file (both from command line and GUI):
$ gedit NOTES.txt ** ERROR:../../gi/pygi-argument.c:1586:_pygi_argument_to_object: code should not be reached Aborted (core dumped) Other files (also from the same directory) work fine. Copying the file to a file with same content, but different file name will trigger the bug also for the new file.
