My bad. I forgot to install libappstream3_0.9.4-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb installing libappstream3_0.9.4-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb wtih dpkg first did fix the problem. I think I was using gdebi. Does this bug break gdebi somehow?
