Public bug reported: I'm using Ubuntu 16.10 dev with systemd-sysv 231-6 and if I'm executing the command "systemctl mask dbus.service" and then "systemctl stop dbus.service" the system does freeze after a few seconds (even switching to the console is not possible anymore). But booting then the system works fine without any freezes while dbus got successfully disabled.
