Public bug reported:

On my Ubuntu 14.04.5 Server IPv6 Privacy Extensions do not work any more
after upgrading to kernel 3.13.0-100-generic, although privacy
extensions are enabled in the config:

root@Sputnik:~# cat /etc/sysctl.d/10-ipv6-privacy.conf | grep tempaddr
net.ipv6.conf.all.use_tempaddr = 2
net.ipv6.conf.default.use_tempaddr = 2

Although the privacy extensions seem to be enabled generally, they are
somehow not enabled for my primary network interface eth0:

root@Sputnik:~# sysctl -a | grep tempaddr
net.ipv6.conf.all.use_tempaddr = 2
net.ipv6.conf.default.use_tempaddr = 2
net.ipv6.conf.eth0.use_tempaddr = 0
net.ipv6.conf.lo.use_tempaddr = -1
net.ipv6.conf.wlan0.use_tempaddr = 2

** Affects: systemd (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
