Public bug reported: Using 17.10 daily. Installed Dash To Dock to test settings compatibility etc... Finished testing. Uninstalled Dash To Dock. Expected Ubuntu Dock to reappear. It did not, even after a shell restart and log out/in. I was able to get it back by reinstalling and disabling Dash To Dock. Ubuntu Dock folder still exists in the system extension folder, but it's desktop appearance seems now permanently dependent on Dash To Dock's installation.
