** Description changed: Fresh install of 09/07 image on Lenovo y510p laptop GK107M [GeForce GT 755M] nvidia-375 drivers installed, tested. Then fully updated Absolutely nothing else done.. Note: this occurred both before & after the gdm3 update. What happens: Attempting to restart from either the gui or in terminal leads to a black screen with blinking cursor. Waiting does nothing. Going to tty1 shows wall of text, cursor just blinks there also. However if I go to tty7 then the shutdown immediately proceeds & finishes.
